DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Scott Badler. Badler is author of the young adult novel, "JFK & the Muckers of Choate" (2022), about John F. Kennedy’s rebellious years at boarding school in the 1930s. A California native, Badler was in elementary school at the time of the Kennedy assassination.
Interview conducted via Zoom on August 3, 2022 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is twenty-five minutes long.
Curatorial CommentarySince this interview was recorded in 2022, Scott Badler has authored a sequel entitled Becoming JFK: John F. Kennedy's Early Path to Leadership (2025). This follow-up book explores John Kennedy's early life between school and his political career, highlighting moments from his time in Europe.
