DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Alan Reich. Reich became politically active as a New York high school student in 1963, volunteering with the Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee and protesting at the opening of the 1964 New York World’s Fair. He spent the summer of 1965 in Mississippi, testing the new Civil Rights Act and documenting ongoing school segregation. Reich later became an anti-Vietnam War activist.
Interview conducted via Zoom on April 6, 2022 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is one hour and sixteen minutes long.
