DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Dr. Charles J. "Jim" Carrico. A resident in general surgery at Parkland Hospital in 1963, Dr. Carrico was the first physician to see President Kennedy upon his arrival at the hospital.
Interview conducted at Dr. Carrico's office in Dallas on August 2, 1997 by Bob Porter and Dr. Marian Ann Montgomery. The interview is one hour and twenty-four minutes long.
