Curatorial Commentary
After this initial interview in 2002, Luke Mooney became a good friend of The Sixth Floor Museum. In addition to later donating the suit of clothes he wore on November 22, 1963, as well as his deputy sheriff's badge (https://emuseum.jfk.org/objects/27315) and firearms, Mooney returned to the Museum for three public and educational programs between 2006 and 2010. His last appearance was less than five months before his passing on December 3, 2010.
