DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with George W. Bramblett Jr. A longtime partner with Haynes and Boone, LLP in Dallas, Bramblett was a freshman law student at Southern Methodist University in 1964. After a personal encounter with defense attorney Melvin Belli at SMU, Bramblett attended the Jack Ruby trial on March 6, 1964. That day he became a close eyewitness to an infamous jailbreak at the Dallas County Jail during which seven inmates briefly escaped. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on March 10, 2004 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is forty-three minutes long.
