Curatorial Commentary
Recognizing that the Jack Ruby trial would likely attract much media attention, Judge Joe B. Brown hired the Sam Bloom Agency in Dallas to coordinate press registration and serve as his personal media representative. Ironically, the Bloom Agency had coordinated public relations for President Kennedy's visit to Dallas in November 1963. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
The man in the white shirt is likely ABC News photographer Jim Davidson, who also filmed Ruby shooting Oswald. - Gary Mack, Curator
