DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Dr. Marjorie Westberry. A longtime social activist and educator, Westberry was a missionary in Africa from 1958 to 1962. Upon moving to Dallas in 1971, she founded a local chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW).
Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on September 8, 2010 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is forty-five minutes long.
Curatorial CommentaryDr. Marjorie Jane Westberry passed away on December 22, 2016 at the age of 80. After moving to Dallas in the 1970s, she became part of the original faculty of Brookhaven College, where she taught composition and literature for a number of years. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
