He covered President Kennedy's visit to Fort Worth and Dallas, ending up at Parkland Memorial Hospital after the assassination.
Interview conducted at Mr. Cabluck's home in Austin on February 3, 2012 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is fifty minutes long.
Curatorial CommentaryLess than a week after recording this interview with Harry Cabluck, I had the pleasure of recording an interview with his brother, Jarrold Cabluck, in Fort Worth. Like his brother, Jarrold Cabluck was also a photographer at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram at the time of the Kennedy assassination. Jarrold's oral history may be viewed here: https://emuseum.jfk.org/objects/36529. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
