DescriptionVideotaped Living History public program with Nancy Myers. Performing under the stage name "Tammi True," Myers was a headlining stripper at Jack Ruby's Carousel Club around the time of the Kennedy assassination. Program conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum on September 6, 2014 by Stephen Fagin. The program is forty-two minutes long.

Nancy Monnell Myers, better known as "Tammi True," passed away on July 9, 2019 at the age of 81. After keeping a low profile for a number of years following the events of 1963, later in life Nancy Myers began to embrace her connection to Jack Ruby and the Kennedy assassination story. In 2013, she co-wrote an autobiography, The Wild and Wayward Tales of Tammi True, with David Hopkins. That same year, she participated in a feature-length documentary, True Tales: JFK. 1963. Exposed. (2013), produced by AMS Pictures. Myers also became associated with the Dallas-based urban burlesque troupe, the Ruby Revue, which was founded in 2007 by dancer Missy Lisa and named in honor of Jack Ruby. Beginning in 2013, Myers appeared on stage as a special guest for a number of Ruby Revue performances at the House of Blues in Dallas. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
