DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Gladys Villarreal, Beatrice Constantino and Edmond Van Brandt Jr. Villarreal, Constantino and Van Brandt are the children of the late Edmond Van Brandt, a carpenter at Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio. Brandt constructed a custom lectern that was used by President Kennedy during his visit to Brooks on November 21, 1963.
Interview recorded at Ms. Villarreal's home in San Antonio on April 11, 2015 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is thirty-one minutes long.
Curatorial CommentaryGladys Villarreal passed away on April 10, 2020. Edmond Van Brandt Jr. passed away on June 21, 2023.
