DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Jake Ingebrigtson. Born sixteen years after the Kennedy assassination, Ingebrigtson has maintained a lifelong interest in the subject, collecting books and meeting a number of eyewitnesses, including the late Phil Willis. He attended the commemorative ceremony in Dealey Plaza on the fiftieth anniversary in 2013.
Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on November 20, 2015 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is fifty-four minutes long.
Curatorial CommentaryIn 2020, Jake Ingebrigtson acquired and subsequently donated to the Museum a series of color photographs taken by the late Jack Johnson, vice president of the First National Bank of Dallas in 1963. The Jack Ingebrigtson Collection (2020.027) includes four images, two showing Main Street prior to the Kennedy motorcade and two showing press outside of Dallas City Hall after the assassination.
