This issue has a Norman Rockwell portrait of John F. Kennedy printed on the cover. This was issued just before the 1960 presidential election (Election Day was 11/08/1960), and has a campaign article on Kennedy as the Democratic presidential candidate. The author of the article, Beverly Smith Jr., traveled with the candidate for several weeks on the campaign trail to research the piece.
