DescriptionAudio oral history interview with G. C. "Jerry" Richmond. A reporter at the Dallas Times Herald at the time of the Kennedy assassination, Richmond covered the scene at the Dallas Trade Mart, Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas police headquarters and the Dallas County Jail. In 1964, he led Times Herald coverage of the Jack Ruby trial and also reported on members of the Warren Commission visiting Dallas during their investigation.
Interview conducted by telephone on October 18, 2016 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is one hour and thirty-four minutes long.

After leaving the Dallas Times Herald in 1981, Richmond - publishing under the name Clint Richmond - became a New York Times bestselling author of true crime books and celebrity biographies.
