Curatorial Commentary
U.S. Secret Service agent Roy Kellerman, seen on the left, was riding in the front passenger seat of the presidential limousine at the time of the assassination. The photographer seen here taking a close image of President Kennedy is Dallas Times Herald chief photographer John Mazziotta. One of his fellow Times Herald staff photographers, Eamon Kennedy, can be seen in the trench coat behind Mazziotta. The Love Field images taken by these two photographers are now part of the Museum's Dallas Times Herald Collection. -- Stephen Fagin, Curator
