DescriptionAudio oral history interview with Kenneth Fliés. Fliés served in the Peace Corps in Brazil from 1962 to 1964. During his training in Alabama, he witnessed segregation for the first time. Fliés is the author of "Into the Backlands: A Peace Corps Memoir" (2018). Interview conducted via telephone on December 12, 2018 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is fifty minutes long.
