DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Dr. Ignacio M. Garcia. A native of Mexico who grew up in San Antonio, Garcia was a U.S. Army combat medic and served in the Vietnam War. As a professor of history at Brigham Young University, he has written several books on Mexican American politics and history, including Viva Kennedy: Mexican Americans in Search of Camelot (2000).
Interview conducted via Zoom on June 9, 2021 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is one hour and twenty-four minutes long.
