The image shows several members of the Warren Commission walking down the right lane of Elm Street in Dealey Plaza. Warren Commission members and staff include (left to right): John McCloy, Allen Dulles, John Sherman Cooper, and Richard Russell. The Commission visited the assassination scene to get a better understanding of what happened. Behind them police officers use cones to direct traffic. The Texas School Book Depository is visible in the background, with a man in the southeast corner window of the sixth floor.
