DescriptionAudio oral history interview with Raun Burnham. A longtime singer and songwriter, Burnham was part of a folk music tour in the New York area at the time of the assassination. She later visited Dealey Plaza in 1967.
Interview conducted by telephone on September 11, 2013 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is forty-one minutes long.

Lavin, who wrote a song about her first visit to The Sixth Floor Museum in the 1990s, has participated in multiple oral histories and programs at the Museum. Raun MacKinnon Burnham passed away on October 6, 2024 at the age of 80. As discussed in this interview, she was active as a songwriter and folk singer throughout the 1960s and 1970s, performing at festivals, clubs and on college campuses.
