DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Allen Tucker. Tucker grew up on a Mississippi farm and attended segregated schools until 1966 when he was among the first African Americans in his community to attend a newly integrated high school. He graduated in 1969 after experiencing racism and bullying. Tucker was locally involved in civil rights activities and participated in a march alongside activist James Meredith.
Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on May 2, 2023 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is one hour and one minute long.
