DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Carl Henry. A Kennedy assassination researcher and memorabilia collector since the 1970s, Henry was a volunteer consultant during the development of The Sixth Floor exhibit in the 1980s. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on February 21, 1998 by Bob Porter. The interview is one hour and fifty minutes long.

The Museum's Carl Henry Collection (1998.007) consists of more than 1,500 objects, including books, audio and videotapes, photographs and slides, notes and correspondence, memorial prayer cards and models.

Curatorial Commentary

As a volunteer consultant in the 1980s, Carl Henry helped establish the Oral History Project at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. Even before the exhibit opened in February 1989, Henry recorded a handful of audio cassette interviews with individuals such as author Seth Kantor, reporter Jerry Flemmons and Tippit shooting eyewitness Jim Archer. He also sat in on the Museum's 1989 oral history with Earl Ruby, brother of Jack Ruby. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
